Random Celebrity Widget Released

For those of our users who use MacOS X Tiger, we have created a fun free dashboard widget that will let you view random celebrities from our database. You can get more information at the product page.

10,000 celebrities!

We passed a major milestone over the weekend at Celebrity Battles. We now have over 10,000 celebrities on the website! Of course, that also means we have over 10,000 celebrities at our new website for Free Celebrity Cellphone Wallpapers. Thanks to all our wonderful users, and we can't wait until we get 10,000 more!

Cell Phone Wallpaper Spinoff Website

We've launched a new website for downloading free celebrity cell phone wallpapers! The celebrity information and pictures are all culled from the excellent Celebrity Battles database. For those of you with cell phones, which is probably a very large number, please check out Celebrity Papers.

New Oscar Battles!

Oscar season is upon us, and everyone is trying to predict the winner. Celebrity Battles has joined in the fun with two Oscar themed battles:

Who will win the Oscar for Best Actor of 2004?
Who will win the Oscar for Best Actress of 2004?

To be honest, our users have done a terrible job of picking the winner in the past, only being right 50% of the time. This time you guys better get it right!

New feature: edit profile

We've been slaving away at the php scripts, trying to make the website better for all of you. Now (if you're a registered user) you can suggest changes to the description of any celebrity. The link is just under the celebrity's picture on their info page. Hopefully this will lead to less celebrities where it just says "hot" or "model" in their profile. Have fun!
